About this Seminar

This is a full day seminar incorporating two of our most popular half-day seminars into a single package. The first half of the day will concentrate on the corporate remedies available to creditors and shareholders of insolvent companies. As well as taking you through the detailed practical steps required by each remedy, we ensure that you are apprised of the latest developments in each area covered. This will include the latest case law, rules of court, legislation and best practices – we try and keep the material as up-to-date as possible because our ultimate aim is to provide you with knowledge not yet available in any law book!

The second half of the day will focus on the new Companies Act 2014. This is an integral piece of legislation for all practitioners, whether or not you are a company law specialist. The aim of this module is to break down the lengthy (sometimes intimidating) piece of legislation into manageable segments, focusing on the key changes brought about by the Act.

Both of these events have been held as half-day seminars in the past year and received excellent feedback. Both will be updated to take into account developments occurring since they were last presented.

Each delegate will receive copies of our highly detailed notes and plenty of networking opportunities over a buffet lunch and coffee breaks. Delegates will receive 7 CPD points for attendance!
